The Binghamton Philharmonic Opens its Season with ‘Blockbusters!’

The Binghamton Philharmonic presents ‘Blockbusters!’, the first concert of the season, on Saturday, October 1 at 7:30pm in the Forum on Washington Street in Downtown Binghamton. Guest conductor leads the orchestra in the overture to Gioachino Rossini’s opera William Tell, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No.3, “Eroica”, and the Violin Concerto No.1 by Max Bruch, with violin soloist Angelo Xiang Yu.  We hear from the soloist and Maestro Hege about the concert.
