Depression and Antidepressants: A Panel Discussion is Thursday, August 25, 1:00 p.m-2:30 p.m at the Finger Lakes Independence Center, 215 Fifth Street, Ithaca; registration is appreciated. Free parking is available. The workshop is free and open to the public.
“This workshop features a diverse panel of individuals who are focused on providing basic information about depression and anti-depressants, sharing their personal experiences, and offering helpful coping techniques, services, and strategies to help make dealing with the challenges of depression less overwhelming and more manageable,” said Advocacy Specialist Emily Papperman.
Panel Members: Rachel Ferrara, MSW, Advocacy Specialist at Finger Lakes Independence Center, Larry Roberts, Director of Community Advocacy at the Finger Lakes Independence Center, and a local mental health professional.
