Beyond Oil: The Deepwater Horizon oil spill in
the Gulf of Mexico has prompted many individuals to ask tough
questions about our dependence on oil and other fossil fuels.
In July, producer Crystal Sarakas will focus on this issue on
Community Conversation. On July 13th, we'll talk about
other sources of energy and how tapping those sources may ease our
dependence on oil. Then, on July 27th, we'll look at the
role that petroleum plays in our everyday lives and what changes we
would have to make as consumers to lessen our oil consumption.
Beyond Oil, July 13 and July 27 at 7 p.m.
