ECHOES OF LIGHT 23" x
35" WSKG PRICE: $200
"Echoes of Light" got it's name from the way the light was
'echoing' from one wall to the other just as sound did that day in
Echo Canyon, which is a part of the trail to the East Rim in Zion
National Park, Utah. The photograph is a C-print from a
medium format negative, printed by a custom printing shop.
Artist statement:
"I enjoy the discovery part of photography. I like to find
images that show Nature in a way that I and perhaps others have not
seen before. And then to get something out of that discovery
process, something that I can keep and share with others, my
photographs are born on film mostly, nurtured digitally, printed
with archival inks, and matted and framed at my home studio.
People viewing my work have commented: "That looks like a
painting." When asked to explain the comment, one said,
"Everything is in the right place," which means that the
composition is pleasing to the eye.
