DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING
WSKG Public Television and Radio (NPR and PBS) is seeking a Director of Engineering, IT and Broadcast Operations.
This position is responsible for overseeing all engineering, information technology and broadcast operations technical infrastructure for our non-profit public media organization.
You must ensure consistent and high quality level for all radio and television broadcasts, and ensure all technical infrastructure complies with FCC regulations and licensing requirements.
You must be able to work collaboratively with other Managers and Departments to achieve highest level of impact and return on all local content productions, while implementing short and long term engineering, IT and related infrastructure plans.
You will also manage the Engineering budgets and oversee the Engineering staff, reporting to the President and CEO.
WSKG serves 21 counties across New York’s southern tier and the northern tier of Pennsylvania and operates 4 TV channels (PBS, PBS Kids, World and Create). WSKG also operates 2 radio stations with the best in NPR programming News and Conversation (WSKG), and classical music and jazz (WSQX or “WSKG Classical”).
