Human Resources Officer
WSKG public television and radio in Vestal, New York is seeking a professional Human
Resources Officer to join our team. The position is part-time, requiring 2.5 days or 20 hours per week.

The winning candidate will be:
● Responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function of our non-profit
organization, providing guidance to managers and staff on HR issues, employee
discipline and supervision issues.
● Responsible for managing payroll, compensation and benefit programs, EEO
compliance and reporting with help from others and the President & CEO.
● Responsible for facilitating all hiring, including recruitment, in coordination with
department managers, and other duties as assigned.
● A full position description will be explained during the interview process.

Minimum Requirements
WSKG requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least three years of experience working in human resources or relevant experience, and strong
communication skills and project-management skills.

Preferred Characteristics
WSKG prefers that you have experience handling employee benefits and experience in a not-for-profit environment. Public media experience is helpful, but not necessary.
