Ti-Ahwaga Community Players stage Harper Lee's classic story

Ti-Ahwaga Community Players present a stage version of To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee's novel that was turned into a memorable film.  The play centers on the trial and how the father, Atticus Finch, and his daughter, Scout, support each other during a difficult time. American History professor Joseph Crespino has said, "In the twentieth century, To Kill a Mockingbird is probably the most widely read book dealing with race in America, and its protagonist, Atticus Finch, the most enduring fictional image of racial heroism." We hear from the actors playing father and daughter, Greg Fusare and Nadia Murphy.https://wskg.org/audio/mockingbirdmix.mp3 Photo courtesy Russ Baker via Ti-Ahwaga Community Players
