Tim O'Brien's award-winning book 'The Things They Carried' is the source for a series of events around the Binghamton area. Studio 271 Productions presents a dramatic reading at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage on March 10 and 11 in an adaptation by Martin M. Murray. The SUNY-Broome Center for Civic Engagement presents a guided deliberative discussion—'The Limits of Power: The United States in Vietnam' on March 8 at 6:30pm in the Decker Community Room of the Broome County Public Library. Tim O'Brien will also appear on March 25 in the Helen Foley Theatre of Binghamton High School.
