The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra opens its season with an augmented ensemble to perform the Leonore Overture No.3 by Ludwig van Beethoven, the Symphony No.1 by Johannes Brahms, and two concerto excerpts with winners of the Lee Strebel Concerto Competition: violinist Gioia Gedicks playing the first movement of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in e minor and Benjamin Doane playing the third movement of Camille Saint-Saens' Cello Concerto No.1 in a minor. Music Director Cornelia Laemmli Orth joins us to talk about what to expect in the concert.https://wskg.org/audio/corneliacco.mp3 Photo credit: Cayuga Chamber Orchestra
