Hansel and Gretel and Peter and the Wolf are the two tales transformed into dance by the Ithaca Ballet, performed on Saturday, October 19 at 3pm and again at 7pm in the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca. We hear from choreographer Lavinia Reid, who has extracted the famous music by Sergei Prokofiev and Engelbert Humperdinck, and we hear about her memories of being one of the gingerbread children.
