Opera Ithaca presents the premiere of Laura Kaminksy's opera Lucidity, which tackles the story of woman experiencing dementia and the effects of her cognitive decline on those around her. We hear from the librettist of the opera, David Cote about how he met the composer and their collaboration in bringing this moving story to the stage, and the importance of a strong libretto.
