TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY (WSKG) - A bipartisan group of federal lawmakers from the U.S. Senate and House put forward an emergency COVID-19 relief package in Washington, D.C. Tuesday morning. Many of the senators credited the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus for bringing the group together and hammering out the proposal.

BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) — Boards of elections in New York’s 22nd Congressional district delivered their final vote counts to an Oswego County Supreme Court justice on Monday. Based on their tallies, Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisi trailed former Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney by just 12 votes.
ALBANY, NY (WSKG) - With New York State’s rate of COVID-19 infection above 4% for the second day in a row, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced new emergency hospital rules to prevent the state’s health care system from being overwhelmed. They include calling on retired doctors and nurses to help out, and cancelling elective surgeries in Erie County.
