BUFFALO, NY (WBFO) - Most of the focus has been on COVID-19, but advocates held a virtual meeting Tuesday to bring attention to another aspect of public health: protecting New York’s drinking water. For the Ithaca Shakespeare Company to present its season, they had to get creative with technology. The director of The Comedy of Errors, Beth Harris, joins us to explain how they accomplished this, and the disadvantages and advantages (no insects!) of doing theatre virtually. Although they are virtual performances, all performances will be live. Performances run for two weekends, in repertory with Romeo and Juliet directed by Chris Nickerson.
