The Southern Tier Singers’ Collective is a new ensemble comprised of choral musicians from across the region. They present their premiere concert with music of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Francesco Soriano, and Tomas Luis de Victoria. Conductor William Culverhouse joins us to talk about the program and the ensemble.

After Fraud InvestigationThe Attorney General of New York took action today to dissolve the National Rifle Association, following an 18-month investigation that found evidence the powerful gun rights group is "fraught with fraud and abuse." Attorney General Letitia James claims in a lawsuit filed Thursday that she found financial misconduct in the millions of dollars, and that it contributed to a loss of more than $64 million over a three year period.
BUFFALO, NY (WBFO) - Gov. Andrew Cuomo took the reins of the National Governors Association Wednesday, building upon the national spotlight he has grabbed during the coronavirus pandemic. The association of 26 Republican and 24 Democratic governors held its summer meeting virtually, naming Cuomo as Chair and Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas as Vice Chair.

SYRACUSE, NY (WRVO) - Indoor gyms are some of the few, last remaining businesses that have had to stay closed in New York State, and there is no word yet from Gov. Andrew Cuomo as to when they can reopen. Gym owners continue to suffer from the closures, but health experts say gyms can pose a higher risk of COVID-19 transmission.
