The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra Presents a Special Concert on WSKG Classical

Cayuga Chamber Orchestra is on enforced hiatus because of the pandemic, but they have given WSKG Classical permission to broadcast a concert of music by Joan Tower, George Enescu, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Music Director Cornelia Laemmli Orth joins us to talk about the highlights of the concert. Tune in at 10 am on Independence Day.

NEW YORK NOW - The number of incarcerated individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 at a small state prison in Chemung County has grown from just four at the beginning of the month to more than 300 confirmed cases as of this week, according to the latest state data. Visitors are no longer allowed at the prison, Elmira Correctional Facility, but criminal justice advocates are calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the state prison agency to do more.

Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisi, former Republican representative Claudia Tenney and Libertarian candidate Keith Price were present.
