New York Attorney General Letitia James said her office would move forward with the deposition sometime in the next two weeks.
ALBANY, NY (WSKG) - Saying he does not trust the federal government, Governor Andrew Cuomo says New York State will conduct its own review of any COVID-19 vaccines that are deemed to be ready for use. Cuomo says the state will set up a review committee, made up of scientific and health experts, to check that any coronavirus vaccine approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration is indeed safe to be injected into people.

NEW YORK NOW - Gov. Andrew Cuomo is traveling to Savannah, Georgia Monday to offer assistance to local officials in their fight against COVID-19, which has overwhelmed several states in the south, including Georgia. Cuomo is scheduled to hold a roundtable discussion with Savannah Mayor Van R. Johnson in the early afternoon, before which he’ll share best practice in curbing the disease.
