Three Masterworks of Theme and Variations

The Binghamton University Orchestra presents ‘Very Varied Variations’, a concert of music by Brahms, Dvorak, and Tchaikovsky. Conductor Dr. Timothy Perry visits to tell us about this three very different works, and how different composers take advantage of the concepts of unity and variety afforded by the genre of “theme and variations”.
