Mayor David said the Broome County Health Department ended his isolation. His tweet comes less than two weeks since he first announced a positive test result for the novel coronavirus.

David also tweeted his thanks to well-wishers, City Hall department heads, and to Auburn Community Hospital, where, he said, he went for a precautionary overnight stay. He urged people to “listen to experts, follow the rules” with masking and social distancing.
