Catch a Sneak Peek of New PBS KIDS Series ‘Molly of Denali’

Molly of Denali, a new multiplatform PBS KIDS series premiering on July 15th 2019, follows the adventures of feisty and resourceful 10-year-old Alaska Native Molly Mabray.

Join WSKG and the Fenimore Art Museum on Sunday, July 7th as we partner for a  ‘Molly of Denali‘ event! We’ll be screening episodes from the upcoming series at 11a.m. and 1p.m. followed by hands-on activities in the Study Center. Visitors will also be able to view the museum’s Thaw Collection of American Indian Art.

The Fenimore Art Museum is located at 5798 State Highway 80 in Cooperstown, NY. Click here for directions. This special programming is included with admission. Children 12 and under are always free.

Molly of Denali is grounded in kid-relatable issues – meeting new people, getting from one place to another, solving a problem, or mastering a skill. Each episode follows Molly, her friends and family through daily life and adventures in Alaska, from planting vegetables and building snow forts, to learning Native songs from the village elders, to racing in a canoe competition. Kids 4 to 8 can join Molly, her dog Suki, and friends Tooey and Trini on their adventures in epically beautiful Alaska through the series, podcast, app, games and more. Molly of Denali is the first nationally distributed children’s series to feature a Native American lead character.

Meet Molly Mabray and her family for a special prequel podcast and more! Molly and her friend Tooey set out to solve the mystery of Molly’s missing birthday cake. Subscribe now to join Molly on her adventures at the Denali Trading Post.
