About WSKG Science
WSKG Science strives to highlight the rich and diverse science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M.) happenings across the WSKG coverage area through partnerships, events and creation of original content. Through national programming like SciGirls, whose goal is to encourage girls towards careers in S.T.E.M., we offer programs with area partners, professional development and are part of a pilot series engaging girls to learn coding. We leverage national science content across our media platforms locally through screening events and connecting our community with local scientists with panel discussions. We strive to share local science and engineering information to better educate and inform our listeners and viewers.
