Corning History and Baseball Exhibit. Baseball collection featuring jerseys, programs, baseball cards, local history of baseball in the area and more. Featuring the Corning Red Sox PONY League and other teams.
Kenneth Haas, local bird enthusiast and nature photographer will display his photos at the Newfield Public Library during the month of April. Ken strives to help others appreciate the beauty of birds through his photography, and to instill a sense of urgency for their protection and conservation of their habitat. In addition to photography, Ken also co-leads bird walks at Sapsucker Woods in Ithaca and for a Pennsylvania chapter of the Sierra Club. Join us for an artist reception Saturday, April 19th from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

Learn how to Latin Dance with World Champion Dancer Michelle Madore.This class uses Cha Cha, Samba, Merengue, Salsa & other Latin Dance steps. Your winter workout doesn't have to be boring. Latin dancing is a workout and stress relieving activity that couldn't be more fun. YOU WILL FORGET YOU ARE EXCERCISING! Learn to perform easy to follow steps, & by the end you will be in better shape, & have learned how to Latin Dance! A great low impact workout for men and women. No partner needed.This is a 4 week series that is designed for beginners and experienced dancers alike! Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows you to turn and move freely. We encourage you to eat a light meal ahead of class.
Wines can be enjoyed and available for purchase after class with old and new friends.
Monthly Open Mic returns starting Thursday, January 9th, and the first Thursday of the month after that (February 6, March 6, April 3, May 1, and June 5). Bring your Instruments - or your poem or story - and Friends for an evening of Music and the Spoken Word in our professional setting. No charge for the evening (although donations gladly accepted) – and some refreshments will be available.

Prepare to set sail for a night of laughter, romance, and timeless tunes with Cole Porter’s "Anything Goes", directed by Kevin Halpin and music director Ben Kapilow. Whether you're a seasoned theater fan or a first-time sailor, the hilarious antics of mistaken identities, forbidden love, and toe-tapping numbers will leave you singing all the way home. Performances will be held April 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th at 7:30pm with matinee performances on April 6th and 13th at 2pm. The talented cast includes Harry Sperduto as the charming Billy Crocker, Emily Reilly as debutante Hope Harcourt, Louis Bianco V as the bumbling Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Ryan Rodriguez as the hapless gangster, Moonface Martin and Heather Hayes in the tour-de-force role of Reno Sweeney.
Featuring iconic Cole Porter songs such as “I Get a Kick Out of You”, “It’s De-Lovely”, and “Blow, Gabriel, Blow”; and with its high-energy dance numbers and witty humor, Anything Goes is a timeless classic that continues to delight audiences around the world.
