Sam Bush is an icon of bluegrass music. Over his fifty year career he has recorded and performed with the likes of Emmylou Harris, Garth Brooks, Lyle Lovett and Bela Fleck. An originator of the Progressive Newgrass movement Bush's music melds influences from Ricky Skaggs to Bob Marley and he is well known for incorporating long jams and rock and roll sensibility into bluegrass traditions. He has won numerous IBM Mandolin Player of the Year awards and has been awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Americana Music Association. Bush was inducted into the IBMA Hall of Fame in 2020 for his work with New Grass Revival and in 2023 he was inducted again for his solo career. Bush has also earned 3 Grammy awards and has been nominated 14 times. He is the foundation upon which is built the explosively popular Bluegrass of today. Don't miss a chance to see the legend.
