ENDWELL, NY (WSKG) — More congressional Democrats joined calls for Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign Friday, including Rep. Antonio Delgado (NY-19).
“Withholding critical information from the public, combined with the growing allegations of threats, bullying and sexual harassment, reflects a culture of aggression that his unfit to lead,” Delgado wrote in the statement posted to his Twitter Friday morning.

Meanwhile, Republican Rep. John Katko (NY-24) also called on thestate assembly to begin impeachment proceedings against the Governor Friday.
With the Governor stating he has no intention to resign, the NYS Assembly is right to initiate impeachment proceedings. Governor Cuomo has lost the ability to govern at a time when effective leadership is most needed.

Cuomo once again rebuffed the growing chorus against him on a call with reporters in the early afternoon, maintaining that sexual misconduct claims and other charges against him are not true.
Fourteen of the state’s nineteen Congressional Democrats also released statements calling on the governor to resign Friday. They include House Judiciary chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (NY-10), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14), Rep. Grace Meng (NY-6) and Rep. Carolyn Maloney (NY-12). All Representatives, including the Democrats, for districts north of Westchester County have called for Cuomo's resignation.
