VISIONThis Festival is held in of honor Rod Serling and his work, which has had a lasting influence on the television industry and media creation. The Festival seeks to inspire the next generation of filmmakers.BIOGRAPHYRod Serling (1925-1975) is an American icon. An Emmy-award winning writer and producer, he was best known for his role as creator and host of THE TWILIGHT ZONE. His innovative work, infused with a sense of moral responsibility and artistic integrity, maintains a cult status. A native of Binghamton, NY, Serling spent his final years as a professor at Ithaca College.HISTORYThe Rod Serling Video Festival launched in 1995 and has welcomed hundreds of entries throughout the years. In 2014, Larry Kassan retired as Festival Founder & Director. Winners Announced in the 2018 Serling Film Festival

Congratulations to the winning student filmmakers of the 2018 Rod Serling Film Festival! The students will be honored on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at The Forum Theatre in Binghamton, NY. This event runs from 10:00am to noon and is open to the public.
