What will happen if we combine the creative writing of students and teachers with the audio technology of 2017?
(Something awesome, we think!)
Teachers and students: Create a script for a 15-minute radio drama that will air on WSKG Radio! Classrooms of students between Grade 7 and Grade 12 are challenged to work together to build a story, write a script, and submit a group entry (see form below).
A panel of judges will review submissions and the classroom behind the winning script will be invited to WSKG’s Youth Media Lab to produce their radio drama. (Stipend is available to offset transportation costs.) Prior to the day of production at WSKG, the Youth Focused team will offer in-class instruction. This will include final script editing, voice techniques, tips for recording ambient sound, and a practice session before recording.
Entry Deadline | April 7, 2017
