Binghamton University Department of Music presents “Songs for Humanity”

The Binghamton University Department of Music will present “Songs for Humanity” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 2 in Watters Theater. Performers include guest artist Ivy Walz, mezzo-soprano, Margaret Reitz, piano and Zachary Sweet, cello. This concert will feature gorgeous art song and moving chamber music from Jewish American an African American composers, and works that celebrate these traditions; works by Bernstein, Previn, Milhaud, Bonds, Hogan, Whitacre and Brown Jr.
