Wales is known as “The Land of Song.” The Welsh have given the world many beautiful and beloved hymns, originating from a rich culture of public group singing. Trinity Church is proud to offer the Binghamton area an opportunity to sing together along with the Trinity Choir, Trinity’s recently expanded Casavant Frères pipe organ played by Organist/Choirmaster Timothy Smith, a professional brass group, and tympani… all in the beautiful Victorian sanctuary of Trinity Church, located on Main Street across from Binghamton High School.
There is nothing quite like lending one’s voice to such a grand collection of music makers. Even the softest voice will experience a lift in glorious song with this assembly of fellow lovers of hymn singing.
The present church building has graced Binghamton’s Main Street since 1897. Trinity Church is known for excellent music during Sunday 10am worship, and also presents regular First Friday music offerings, CandleChant (compline), and Choral Evensong. A Lenten music series will be offered Sundays in March at 6pm.
