Odysseys: Ithaca writers on exile, wandering, and searching for home

Homer’s Odyssey recounts the adventures of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, as he seeks to return home after the Trojan War. In four monthly online readings, pairs of Ithaca-based writers will provide their own take on the theme of odysseys, from the physical to the intellectual to the emotional.
The May 18 readings feature: Minfong Ho (writer of young adult and children’s books, including The Clay Marble) and Kenneth A. McClane (poet and author of Color: Essays on Race, Family, and History)
