Odysseys: Ithaca writers on exile, wandering, and searching for home
February 23 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Homer’s Odyssey recounts the adventures of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, as he seeks to return home after the Trojan War. In four monthly online readings, pairs of Ithaca-based writers will provide their own take on the theme of odysseys, from the physical to the intellectual to the emotional.
The Feb. 23 reading features: Gail Holst-Warhaft (poet, translator, author of Penelope’s Confession) and Aoise Stratford (playwright, author of Hangar Theatre’s A Christmas Carol).
