Opera Ensemble presents Argento’s Postcard from Morocco one act opera

Postcard from Morocco is a one-act opera with music by Dominick Argento and a libretto by John Donahue. The opera is based on A Child’s Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson, and premiered in Minneapolis in 1971. Argento’s first international success, Postcard from Morocco is a moving and artful piece which asks us to think about our motivations in life.
Tickets for the concert are $20, general admission; $15, for faculty, staff, alumni and seniors; and $10 for students and are available at the Anderson Center Box Office from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays, by calling 607-777-ARTS, online (anderson.binghamton.edu) or at the door.
