Paleo to Present: Perspectives on Changes in Plant Life

Join PRI research scientist Liz Hermsen and PRI educator Ingrid Zabel on a walk along the Cayuga Nature CenterÕs tree phenology trail. Learn about changes in plant life on time scales from paleo (millions of years) to present (decades).
Ingrid Zabel is Climate Change Education Manager and Elizabeth Hermsen is a Research Scientist and Paleobotanist, both at the Paleontological Research Institution.

All workshops held rain or shine (barring really severe weather) Sundays at 1:00 pm. All walks begin at will last at least an hour. They are hikes, so participants should be prepared to be on their feet and out in the weather. In the event of a thunderstorm or worse, events will be canceled. Included with admission to the Cayuga Nature Center.
