Protecting Caroline’s Environment and Natural Resources

The Town of Caroline Planning Board is holding a community workshop to develop strategies for protecting Caroline’s environment and natural resources. Examples of what Caroline residents have identified as important goals include creating and protecting parks, preserves and undeveloped public land; protecting watersheds, aquifers and stream banks; limiting noise and light pollution; reducing trash; protecting clean air and water; living sustainably; and mitigating climate change. Caroline residents and other interested parties are invited to attend and contribute ideas for attaining these goals. The workshop will be held Thursday evening, December 13th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Brooktondale Fire Station, 786 Valley Rd, Brooktondale, NY 14817.
