Remington Ryde Bluegrass Band
March 24 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm$2 - $60
Don’t miss bluegrass crowd-pleaser Remington Ryde when they perform at the Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre 15 North Main Street on Saturday March 24 @ 7pm. The band, playing together for 12 years, has a distinct sound and old time flair forged in the Bluegrass-rich area of Pennsylvania from which they hail and borrow their name.
Founding member Ryan Frankhouser’s showmanship and chemistry with the audience turns fans into family. Banjo man Billy Lee’s humor, wit, and ever encouraging approach to life clearly show through on stage and off. Through tears of laughter or of renewed joy, Billy Lee will touch your heart and leave you smiling every time. Add to that Jim Treat (bass) and Stanley Efaw (mandolin and tenor), with their unending love of bluegrass and you have a band that Lorraine Jordan called “one of the most entertaining acts on the bluegrass circuit today.
The group has received 10 SPBGMA awards in Nashville Tennessee and 4 SPBGMA nominations for 2018 including Entertainer of the Year, Overall Bluegrass Band of the Year, Banjo Player of the Year and Promoter of the Year. Remington Ryde has also just signed a major recording contract with Pine Castle Records.
Doors open at 6 pm and all performances are open seating. Tickets are available at the door or you may reserve a ticket ahead by calling 607-288-3882.
