University Symphony Orchestra present “Very Varied Variations” with cello soloist Zachary Sweet

Three iconic compositions showcase the richness of orchestral variation: Johannes Brahms’ Variations on a Theme of Haydn; Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations, and Peter Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme with soloist Binghamton University Adjunct Lecturer Zachary Sweet, cello at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 in Osterhout Concert Theater at Binghamton University. Tickets are available at the Anderson Center Box Office from noon to 5:30 p.m. weekdays, by calling (607) 777-ARTS, online at anderson.binghamton.edu, or at the door.
