What’s For Lunch?

June 23 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every 6 weeks that begins at 11:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until July 28, 2021

Free

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Schoharie & Otsego nutrition educator, Kimberly, for a 6-week series of classes to learn about both the “why” of eating healthy and the “how”. One hour a week includes a nutrition lesson and time for a cook-along dish.

In each class you can choose to cook alone and prepare something for lunch that day. Each recipe will be easy to prepare using typical kitchen tools.

The main recipe for each week will be shared by the previous Friday so you’ll have plenty of time to purchase ingredients and gather equipment. The recipes generally make 4 servings. Companion recipes will also be sent. Please note that the companion recipes may NOT be part of the cook-along.

The classes are free for all participants, but you need to provide the ingredients and kitchen. Reliable wi-fi connection is recommended.
