Link: The Quiet Genius

In 1929, in the basement of his father's piano and organ factory in Binghamton, New York, 25 year-old Edwin Link would build the world's first successful flight simulator. The "Link Pilot Maker" would revolutionize the world of aviation, and create an industry that would help win a world war and train the men who would walk on the moon.

Link: The Quiet Genius tells the story of one of the twentieth century's greatest inventors. Edwin Albert Link, at the height of success in the simulation industry, would leave it and turn his creative mind to exploring the deep waters if the world's oceans. There he would build devices that would take man deeper, and enable hit to stay longer than ever before... but it would also be the setting for a personal tragedy that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Utilizing rare archival material, and produced by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Brian Frey, this film offers an intimate portrait of inventor, treasure hunter, and philanthropist Edwin A. Link.
