Media literacy survey for parents and caregivers
WSKG and PBS KIDS is your source for safe, educational, and trusted media. We also believe in a balanced and responsible approach to consuming media and that being media literate* is an important skill.
Please share your feedback and ideas with WSKG through this brief survey. Your input is very important to us and will help inform the efforts of our Education Department and local content! Participants have the option to be entered into a drawing ~ two randomly selected winners will each receive a $50 gift card (Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Target).
*Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create, and act using all forms of communication. Media are defined as the means of communication that reach or influence people widely (for example: radio, television, newspapers, magazines, the Internet). Critical thinking, effective communication, and being an engaged citizen are important elements and outcomes of media literacy. (https://namle.net, 2022)
