The district includes Wayne County and the City of Scranton.

At the time of the call, the Democratic incumbent led Republican Jim Bognet by about four percent with 91 percent of precincts reporting.

Cartwright has been in Congress since 2013.

The call comes days after the Associated Press announced Republican Fred Keller won another term representing Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District.

PA-12 covers much of the eastern Northern Tier and dips into central Pennsylvania.

As of Friday afternoon, Keller leads Democrat Lee Griffin with 71 percent of the vote. This is his first full term in Congress, after winning a special election in 2019.
