VESTAL, NY (WSKG) -- There’s confusion surrounding ticket sales for Woodstock 50.
The festival is set for Watkins Glen in August. It features artists like Jay-Z, Santana and Miley Cyrus.
Tickets were set to go on sale Monday. Last week, Billboard reported that wouldn’t happen. One booking agent told Billboard "[n]o one knows what the hell is going on but there is clearly a problem."
As of this morning, the ticket page on Woodstock’s website says "tickets on sale soon.”
No reason for the delay has been given, but Schuyler County Administrator Tim O’Hearn told Pitchfork that the festival does not have a necessary permit from the New York Department of Health.
A call and email to Woodstock representatives weren’t immediately returned.
