VESTAL, NY (WSKG) - Fishing will be free across New York this weekend.
Residents can fish without a license on all of New York’s public waterways Saturday, September 28th.
It’s part of National Hunting and Fishing Day.
Governor Andrew Cuomo says New York has some of the best opportunities to hunt and fish.
His office adds the sport boosts the state’s economy by $4.9 billion every year.
