Greenfield Hints At NY-19 Campaign

Greenfield 2020 NY19 Announcement - web

BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) - A candidate who ran on the Green Party line in New York’s 19th Congressional District in 2018 is hinting that he’ll run again.

An email from Steve Greenfield's campaign stated an announcement is coming on Monday. In 2018, he finished third with 1.5 percent of the vote in a four person race.

New York’s 19th district includes Otsego and Delaware Counties along with part of Broome County. During his last run Greenfield pushed for more action on climate change and said voters should have more of a choice than just a Democrat or a Republican.

He would join a field that includes Democratic incumbent Antonio Delgado along with Republican challengers Ola Hawatmeh, Michael Roth and Kyle Van De Water.
