BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) - On Sunday, Broome County Executive Jason Garnar announced he is under mandatory quarantine after an exposure to COVID-19.
"This afternoon I officially got the call from 'NYS Contact Tracing' that thousands of other Broome County have received over the past year-due to a potential exposure with someone who was COVID positive I am being placed into mandatory quarantine through the 19th," Garnar said on Facebook.
The Democrat said he is feeling fine and has not had any symptoms. He did not mention where the possible exposure took place.
Garnar said he plans to work from home via Zoom until the quarantine has ended.
