ENDWELL, NY (WSKG) — A disciplinary board in Pennsylvania has temporarily suspended Chad Salsman’s law license after the Bradford County District Attorney was charged with sexual assault last month.
After he was first charged in early February, Salsman put a deputy in charge of office operations and his lawyer said that would continue, according to PennLive.
In early February, Salsman was charged with three counts of sexual assault and five other charges including indecent assault, witness intimidation, obstruction and promoting prostitution. A grand jury heard testimony from several women who were clients of Salsman while he was in private practice.
“Many of Salsman’s clients struggled with addictions, had a history of being sexually abused, or suffered from other vulnerabilities which Salsman exploited,” the grand jury report read.
Salsman denies the allegations and has moved to dismiss the charges. He alleges misconduct by the state police and prosecutors in the case.
A hearing on those motions has ben set for April 16.
