Angelino’s campaign announced the endorsement on Wednesday.

Part of the 122nd Assembly District overlaps with Seward’s 51st Senate District.  The Republican, who was diagnosed with cancer, retires at the end of the year.

Angelino faces Nick Libous in June’s GOP Primary. They’re vying to replace Cliff Crouch, who has represented the area since 1995.

Angelino has also been endorsed by Crouch, as well as Binghamton-area State Senator Fred Akshar.

The primary is set for June 23.
