According to a team press release, this aligns with guidelines from the CDC and Minor League Baseball amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our staff continues to work towards a solution for reopening the ballpark this summer,” said John Bayne, Rumble Ponies Managing Director. “When the season starts we will ensure staff, players and fans are given the opportunity to enjoy America’s past time in a safe environment.”

In March, the Rumble Ponies announced that all home games would be postponed until at least mid-May. Soon after, the team canceled planned Eastern League all-star events that had been set for July in Binghamton.

NEW YORK NOW - Gov. That’s different from Cuomo’s previous marijuana legalization proposals, which allowed funding for social equity purposes, but didn’t earmark an exact amount.
