Syracuse men’s basketball earned another ticket to the NCAA tournament. The Orange has been to six Final Four’s and made a run to the Sweet-16 last year. The team is an eight-seed and plays Baylor in the first round on Thursday in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The SU women are also in the tournament. The Orange is a three-seed in the NCAA women’s bracket and plays Fordham on Saturday in Syracuse. If the team wins, it would also be home for its second-round matchup.

SUNY Buffalo is also sending both its men’s and women’s basketball teams to the dance. The women are a ten-seed and play Rutgers in Connecticut on Friday. If the Bulls win, they’ll likely face 11-time national champion UConn in the second round.
Buffalo men’s basketball is a six-seed and plays either St. Johns or Arizona State on Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Bulls come off a year where they spent several weeks ranked in the Top-25.
Finally, the Colgate men won the Patriot League tournament to clinch its spot. The team is a 15-seed playing Tennessee, which spent part of the year as the number-1 team in the country. That game is Friday in Columbus, Ohio.
