Tioga Downs reveals its plans Friday. The announcements come after the New York Gaming Commission voted in June to allow sports betting at four upstate casinos.

Tioga Downs is in the community of Nichols in Tioga County. The other casinos are Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady, and Del Lago Resort and Casino in Waterloo.

A U.S. Supreme Court ruling last year lifted the ban on sports gambling. Several states, like Pennsylvania, approved similar regulations in recent years.

Meanwhile, legislation in New York that would allow wagers at sports venues and on devices has been introduced in Albany, but hasn’t come up for a vote.
