WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 17: An installation is erected outside of Union Station demanding a Yes vote on the American Dream and Promise Act and the Farm Workforce Modernization Act for the House and Senate on March 17, 2021 in Washington, DC. The American Dream and Promise and the Farm Workforce Modernization Acts both aim to provide pathways to citizenship for young undocumented immigrants, immigrants with temporary protected status, and farm workers. The two bills have support among Democrats and some Republicans. Communities United for Status and Protection (CUSP) is a collaborative of grassroots immigrant community organizations working together to win permanent status for our members and communities, and build a more inclusive immigrant rights movement that centers the needs and experiences of African, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, Arab/Middle Eastern, and API immigrants.
