Beiko Ceramics is a design and production ceramic studio, ran by artist Rita Seiko Payne. The products are functional pottery, made for interesting people.
Currently creating out of her studio in Cherry Valley, NY, Rita produces small-batch, slip-casted, functional pottery which is created from recognizable forms that we normally discard. This includes cabbage leaf bowls, to-go quart cups, and more. She is hoping create functional art that reminds the user to redefine the ordinary, to find excitement in the everyday, and to surround themself with beauty.
Hosting several community sales, classes and workshops yearly, as well as running an assistantship program within the studio, Beiko Ceramics values not only its local community, but hopes to empower artists everywhere.Special Offers during Social Isolation:

The studio will be accepting applications for Assistants in an ongoing basis, and applicants will be contacted when it is safe to have in-person meetings.
