BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) — With just 12 days until the election, candidates for New York’s 22nd Congressional District made their case to voters during a broadcast debate Thursday night. Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisi, former Republican representative Claudia Tenney and Libertarian candidate Keith Price were present.
WSKG Public Media and the League of Women Voters of Broome and Tioga Counties presented a debate Thursday evening, featuring candidates in the 22nd Congressional District. The participants were:

In a debate governed with rules set by the LWV, the candidates were asked About their qualifications, government policies and voting histories. This debate was a partnership between WSKG Public Media, The League of Women Voters of Broome and Tioga Counties, SUNY-Broome Civic Engagement Center, SUNY-Broome History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department, Binghamton University Center for Civic Engagement, and The Andrew Goodman Foundation Vote Everywhere Initiative.
BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) — Every New York voter can request an absentee ballot citing concerns about COVID-19. Millions of absentee ballots were already returned nation-wide, but candidates are still campaigning.
ALBANY, NY (WSKG) - Early voting begins in New York on Saturday, October 24, and continues through Sunday November 1, two days before Election Day. The number of polling places vary from county to county, but each county is required to have at least one early voting polling site.
