Ready Jet Go! launches next week!

WSKG is counting down to blast-off with READY JET GO!, a new show launching Monday, February 15, 2016.  The series follows Jet Propulsion and his three neighbor friends, Sean, Sydney, and Mindy.  Jet is the new kid in the neighborhood whose family happens to be aliens from the planet Bortron 7.  Together they explore the solar system, learning about friendship, teamwork, and the world around them along the way.In this one-hour launch special, Jet and friends take a trip to the Moon to learn about asteroids, find out how living on the Moon is different than living on Earth, explore the moon's phases and have a backyard sleepover under the starry sky.READY JET GO! joins our weekday schedule featuring fun stories about a variety of Earth science concepts - such as gravity, sound waves, and force - coupled with live-action interstitials led by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory astronomer, Dr. Amy Mainzer.  At the heart of every episode is a basic, kid-friendly question about our solar system, our galaxy, and the universe.https://youtu.be/Z9Ju-JLrhgQREADY JET GO! will air on WSKG weekdays at 7:30 am and 4:00 pm!
